About the project
SIMPA (Simulation de la Parenté) is an interdisciplinary project aiming at the analysis and mathematical simulation of kinship networks. The project gathers anthropologists, statisticians, historians and computer scientists from CNRS (CAMS and CEMAf) and INED.

The research program is supported by a grant of the French National Research Agency (ANR) extending from 2009 to 2012.
